Anxiety in Children - Presentation to Mason City Schools

On Thursday, Oct 18th at 6:00 p.m. in the Mason Early Childhood Center, Kiva Room (4631 Hickory Woods Drive, Mason, ON 45040), Brenda Patton, LISW-S and Sarah Cadwallader, LISW-S will be speaking on the topic of anxiety in children. Because of the increase in anxiety-related problems we are seeing in the children we have counseled over the last 2-3 years. Anxiety disorders are among the most common mental, emotional and behavioral problems to occur during childhood and adolescence. Its effects can lead to difficulties with peer and family relationships, academics, difficulties focusing and sleeping, changes in appetite, and even repetitive behaviors used for coping.
